NU-ECO Household Cleaning Range Review by THE CONSCIOUS MOM
With so many cleaning products available on the market, it’s easy to have more products than one actually needs. I am always on the look-out for cleaning products that are highly effective yet kind to mother earth, animals and my family.
I recently came across a Nu-Eco, a South African brand and their range is 100% natural, environmentally friendly and also vegan. All their products are biodegradable and kind to the planet. Their range is safe to use because it has been specially formulated to work effectively using 100% natural ingredients. None of the ingredients have been tested on animals and the range has been approved by Beauty Without Cruelty. Are you sold yet?
These are some of the household products that I tried out:
NU-ECO Surface Cleaner
This surface cleaner uses the power of botanical extracts to cut through grease and grime on all hard surfaces.
I use an empty spray bottle, diluted 1:25 (100ml in 2.5l water) for my heavy cleaning on all my hard surfaces and simply wipe it clean with a damp cloth. This is super effective and great to use in the kitchen, on the stove and all surfaces. I also clean all my son’s toys with this product. I am saving big time because I no longer have to buy separate products for him. I also like the fresh smell it leaves behind.
NU-ECO Dishwashing Liquid
This is by far the most effective natural dish washer I’ve tried. Each drop goes a long way and leaves a lovely shine and fresh citrus fragrance. I can’t get over how gentle it is on my hands.
Like the rest of the Nu-Eco range, this dishwasher is free from harmful chemicals, sulphates and phosphates, 100% biodegradable and water course friendly.
NU-ECO Floor and Grout Cleaner
Now this product is amazing. I use it on my floors and tiles and is great to clean the shower. Formulated with a synergized blend of bacillus organisms and free enzymes, fats, oils and greases are effectively hydrolysed.
NU-ECO Laundry Gel and Bleach powder
This laundry gel is great for the whole family. For stains, I rub a bit of laundry gel prior to loading it into the machine. For tougher stains, I make use of the Nu-Eco bleach powder, along with the laundry gel. The bleach powder is both a whitener and colour brightener and this makes it ideal for all the laundry.
